Changing the use of the apartment to residential does not require authorisation from the condominium

Decree-Law no. 10/2024 of 8 January, which approved the licensing simplex, altered the rules of the Civil Code relating to horizontal property, determining that altering the purpose or use for which each fraction/apartment is intended for habitation does not require the authorisation of the other condominium owners.
